MyScript Builder Embedded Edition (EE) is a Software Development Kit (SDK) that allows integration of handwriting recognition into small-footprint platforms, such as for example digital pens, smartphones, Mobile Internet Devices or eBooks.

- Adapted to small footprint systems, MyScript Builder EE contains modular libraries as well as a range of different resource sizes for greater flexibility while still providing excellent accuracy rates.
- Language model: MyScript Builder EE can be delivered with language models which supply “linguistic intelligence” to the recognition engine. They describe statistically how common language is formed and the probability of written words occurring together.
- Different handwriting styles: MyScript Builder EE reliably recognizes isolated characters, hand printed and cursive (natural) handwriting.
- Gestures: MyScript Builder EE supports gestures to insert spaces, line breaks or to delete characters.
- Confidence scores: MyScript Builder EE provides confidence scores for each recognition result as well as a list of alternative results.
- Operating systems: The standard delivery for MyScript Builder EE is supported by Android, Embedded Linux, iOS, Symbian and Windows Mobile. For projects with special requirements, MyScript Builder EE can be ported to other operating systems, even proprietary ones.
