MyScript Language Packs

MyScript Language Packs provide full recognition resources for more than 80 languages.

Two types of language packs are provided: MyScript Lingo and MyScript Letra.

MyScript Lingo

MyScript Lingo is a set of 22 language packs available with MyScript Builder or MyScript Builder Embedded SDKs.

MyScript Lingo is recommended for applications using free text (natural cursive handwriting) as data input such as note taking, form processing and interactive whiteboards.

MyScript Lingo includes in-depth linguistic resources in order to recognize all types of handwriting from isolated to full natural cursive text:

MyScript Letra

MyScript Letra is a pack of resources available for MyScript Builder Embedded SDK.

MyScript Letra is designed particularly for embedded platforms such as:

  • Smartphones,
  • PDAs,
  • GPS,
  • Electronic tablets,
  • Gaming consoles.


It includes specific sets of characters such as alphabets, numeral, punctuation and symbols in order to recognize hand-printed and isolated characters in more than 80 languages.
