Form processing is in many cases a very expensive and time consuming task. It involves form design, data capture, handwritten information recognition, human intervention, transport, storage etc. With traditional methods the results can be disappointing: the data collected is not always accurate and can be laborious to process in back-end systems.

MyScript Form is a flexible Software Development Kit available in conjunction with MyScript Builder, designed for bringing online handwriting recognition technology into form processing applications.

The use of MyScript Form reduces significantly form processing costs. Through user friendly digital input interfaces such as digital pen & paper and TabletPCs, MyScript Form reliably recognizes natural handwriting and converts it into digital information. Workflow is considerably improved as data are immediately available in various formats for further use in back-end applications, as shown in the diagram below.

• Stroke Dispatcher to help managing and assigning ink-to-box
• Generic Analyzer to design and customize customer specific recognizers. These analyzers are used to recognize a specific field with its dedicated database
• Resource Manager to optimize the usage of language specific resources

Supported operating systems

MyScript Form is available for Windows and Linux. It can be ported to other operating systems including proprietary on request.
